One of Nancy Marshall Communications clients is Maine Beer and Wine Distributors Association. MWDA has paired up with Julia Clukey, Maine Olympian, to do a Responsibility Campaign. For this campaign, Clukey as well as some NMC staff have traveled around to Maine high school's and will be soon making appearances at summer camps state wide. For the campaign, releases are constantly being sent to schools, media, and more. Instead of using a straight headshot of Clukey for these releases, Greg Glynn decided it would be nice to have something a bit more candid and personal. However, he did not have a picture of just her. So, Greg asked me to quickly enhance the color and remove all other people from an existing photo from one of her high school appearances. Although I had done a couple power points for NMC prior to being in the office, my first official day was Thursday, May 26. I was eager to get in the office and had literally been counting down the days since April 15, the day I received the internship position. When I got into the office, I was greeted by many smiling faces. Everyone was extremely friendly which helped ease my first day jitters. The following list is what I did for my first day:
